How many sessions will I need to see results?

The duration varies for each individual, as it depends on your unique background. DiMee’s approach prioritizes your comfort, allowing you to progress at a pace that your nervous system can handle to prevent overwhelm. While the modalities offered are slower-paced to foster a sense of safety, they are also highly effective, leading to lasting change. Many clients find that weekly sessions over a few months can yield significant transformation, but your journey is entirely personalized to your needs.

Does online work for these somatic healing?

Absolutely! Online sessions are very effective. In fact, DiMee can feel resonance with clients no matter where they are in the world, which is quite amazing. We’re fortunate to have the ability to connect across various geographies, allowing for meaningful healing experiences from the comfort of your own space!

Do you take insurance?

At this time, insurance is not accepted.

Does this work for children?

Yes, DiMee works with both adults and children. In fact, she loves working with kids because it allows her own inner child to come out and play! She has extensive experience with children, starting as a babysitter in her youth, working for years at her grandmother’s daycare, and later caring for children in the emergency department.

Is touch therapy involved?

It can be, but it’s not a requirement. DiMee will always ask for consent before incorporating touch therapy, and participation is entirely optional. Your comfort and boundaries are the top priority.

How are DiMee’s offerings different than traditional talk therapy?

While talking is part of sessions with DiMee, they go beyond traditional talk therapy. Her approach includes tuning into bodily sensations, exploring and expressing emotions, making movements and sounds, and allowing images to naturally surface or intentionally creating them. Everything unfolds at a pace that feels manageable and is always guided by your consent.

How do I prepare for my first session?

Great question!

For in-person sessions: Simply dress in cozy, comfortable clothing—it's as easy as that!

For online sessions: It’s recommended to use a laptop rather than a cellphone for a better experience. Make sure you're in a private space where you feel safe to express yourself, and position your camera so that DiMee can see you from the waist up.
